Georgina had been sneaking about, interviewing a small handful of students about squid slime in Hogsmeade village, & it had begun to take it's toll on her. There was only so much teenage psychobabble that she could listen to before she lost all interest & began to question why she'd decided to become a journalist in the first place. All of the students that she'd interviewed seemed to have the same misplaced sense of pride with refusing to reveal any names but their own. As if getting high was something entirely thought up by this generation & she wasn't cool enough to be a part of their little club. She had, however, received one name, a slip-up by another third year boy she'd interviewed. He'd mentioned a seventh year who had a monopoly on actually gaining access to the stuff: Thierry Montague. Scribbling the name down at the top of her notes, she glanced up as her fresh butterbeer was brought to her - the third one in the past few hours.
As she looked up to accept her beverage, the little bell above the doorway of the Three Broomsticks chimed softly, drawing the woman's eyes over to see who had entered. A small blonde girl bustled inside to escape the cold, carefully unwrapping her Slytherin scarf. Georgina was about to avoid the girl altogether, not feeling like bothering any more students - her mind wouldn't handle it - when she felt a tinge of familiarity. Her table was close enough to the door that she hardly needed to raise her voice to address the young girl.
"Do I know you?"

Ashley had just finished her classes for the day and stopped for a spot of tea before she headed home, as she stood at the counter waiting for her tea after she ordered, when she was spoken to, glancing at the blonde women she cocked her head to the side trying to recall if she had met her before, it didn't take long for her to remember "you wrote a piece on my uncle ...Broderick Bode" she smiled politely although it was faint, her uncle nearly asphyxiating was not exactly a memory she enjoyed bringing up.

"No shit." she breathed, one perfectly manicured eyebrow twitching upwards in interest. She stretched one leg out beneath her own table and kicked the chair across from her out with a soft skid across the worn wooden floor.
"Sit." she insisted, her voice both excitedly gossipy and hinting that she was not giving a suggestion lightly all at once.

Ashley looked nervous as she feebly smiled "oh I...um..okay" she sat herself down across from the fellow blonde a slightly uneasy feeling in her stomach she really was not interested in re hashing one of the most traumatizing moments of her life, she after all was the person who found Broderick.

"So." Her eyes flashed excitedly. This girl seemed meek - meeker than she'd remembered knowing her - and on top of that, the Slytherin robes were a dead giveaway. Those lot travelled in groups, right? Chances were she knew something for this piece.
"Relax, I'm not asking about your uncle. I want to know what you know about - " she paused, looking around to make sure no one was listening in, then added more softly, "Squid polymers. Slime."

Ashley relaxed as soon as she was told her uncle would not be the topic of discussion "oh" she raised her eyebrows then shook her head "I don't really know anything about it to be honest I have never done it and I really don't intend to"

She flapped a hand, "Yeah, yeah, I get that. You've got that whole vibe written all over you." she gestured to her vaguely with a sweeping arm movement, then moved along quickly, "But I'm asking what you know. Not doing it is one thing, not hearing about it? A little more rare. And I'm not entirely sure I believe you." But her tone wasn't unkind, in fact, almost the opposite, like a friend you'd gossip with, her tone speaking volumes of 'you can trust me, I can keep a secret'.

Ashley instantly looked nervous again she really didn't know much , she knew that Thierry Montague was definitely a user and had a inkling that it was Eddie Charmichael who provided for the student body , already being a pariah she really wasn't interested in letting this girl know that "I'm really sorry I can't help you" she stated honestly.
