Tallulahs second favourite time of year had come! Christmas! And if nothing else she was obsessed with making the house look as Christmassy as possible, the perfect tree was needed, and then of course the colour scheme, this year she wanted silver, having had red the previous previous christmas. Though she was going to check with Georgina first.
She'd gotten up super early, just to make breakfast and be ready for the day by the time her housemate awoke. The smell of syrup filling the house as the pancakes cooked. She'd done it by hand for the first time in months, having always said she'd been too busy to do so and being a witch, she'd just enchanted them to make themselves. Though, this way she knew they'd taste better.

Georgina climbed out of bed not much later, happy that she was getting to sleep in, finally. Her days off would be limited, this season, but damned if she wasn't going to take advantage of them. Piling her messy mane of bedhead blonde hair up into a ponytail, she stepped into her slippers & made her way downstairs, alerting Tallulah of her presence with her graceless, not-quite-awake stomping about.
"Mornin'." she said through a yawn as she hiked up the sweatpants on her hips a little, already hunting through the cupboards for a mug big enough to hold more than a pot of coffee. She paused her search suddenly, going stiff, & slowly turned back to the redhead. "Did you cook? Has hell frozen over?" she teased, fighting off another yawn.

"Morning!" Tallulah answered in an overly excited tone for that time in the morning. Clearly she was far into the Christmas spirit already. Wiping some flour from her cheek she laughed quietly, moving across the kitchen to the stove to flip another pancake. "I'm still cooking" she answered, sounding giddy still. Clearly she'd had a good weeks worth of coffee as soon as she'd awoken and it'd caught up with her. "Sit down, sit down, it'll be ready soon. And then we need to go decoration shopping, so chop chop woman!"

"You're all cheerful. And it's early. Gross." Georgina said sarcastically, though a small smirk was beginning to appear on her features. Her roommates happiness was infectious, not that she'd admit it. "Alright, sitting." she took the coffee pot with her, not bothering with a mug, now, & slumped into one of the chairs at the small table, fighting off yet another yawn.
"Hey, are we planning to have people over again this year? Because Marie at the head of Arts & Life has literally not stopped asking about those red-wine bellinis from last year." Georgina reached for the prophet & simultaneously took a large gulp of warm coffee - straight from the pot.

"It's Christmas! The time to be cheerful!" Tallulah said with a laugh, her head tilting to her side again as she nodded her head all approvingly. "Good, now stay there." She added as she poured the pancakes out of the pan and onto the plate. "Um, I dunno, we can do if you want?" Tallulah added, her shoulders shrugging. "I must admit though, we're the best hosts so yeah, if you want to." Taking the plate of pancakes, Tallulah walked over to the table before reaching for her wand, flicking it so the syrup, choc chips, strawberries, and banana all set themselves at the table.

"Oh my god, bananas." Georgina said, barely finishing her sip of coffee in time to speak without spitting all over herself. She tossed the Prophet onto the nearest empty chair instead - the bad news could wait for now, the breakfast in front of her seemed so much more important right now. "So now that I'm a little more awake. Decorations. You have a plan, I'm assuming?" Georgina turned her gaze to her much more cheerful & energetic for the time being friend, quirking an eyebrow with a small smirk.
