The Wheatsheaf wasn't the most popular pub in Diagon Alley, but on a Thursday night it was a much better option than The Leaky Cauldron. There wasn't the same crowd of 'regulars' and 'artist types' that seemed to be constantly filled wall-to-wall in the Cauldron, there were new people, younger types - recent graduates & Ministry interns, new young Wizarding Law students & the like. Much more Georgina's type.
"Oh my god, look at this one." Georgina hissed, elbowing the redhead next to her sharply in the ribs, before adjusting her scandalizingly short minidress so that her cleavage was a little more apparent. A tall, slightly older, broad-shouldered male had just walked in, glancing around the pub as if trying to find someone in particular. "At least a nine. Docked points for being a geezer." she whispered loudly, sipping from the color-changing cocktail in her hands.
The man found a spot at the bar & headed over, suddenly revealing a cane & a very apparent limp. "Ew. Super old. I change my vote. Seven at the most." Georgina offered cruelly.

Drinking somewhat elegantly through her straw, the petite redhead turned her body as she was elbowed in the ribs (she no longer jolted at the action because she'd come to expect it when either of them saw someone worthy of being on the 'rating system'). "Mmm." Tallulah hummed happily under her breath, her body moving in a swaying gesture in time to the music playing around the pub. Her head moving in sync with the rest of her body as she continued to slowly drink through the straw or the bright pink cocktail in her hand.
"I know him." She spoke finally with a smile as she lowered her drink. "Through work, he used to work at the ministry, now he's a professor at Hogwarts." Her head tilted just a little in order to examine him closer. "Edward, care of magical creatures." Shrugging, she turned to Georgina. "I honestly do not understand why they hired someone hot after we'd graduated. I bet he has a lot of his students wanting to make his desk creek."

"Because if they hired someone hot while we were there, we would have made the desk creak." she pointed out, smirking properly now as she spoke, before looking back at Edward again curiously, eyebrow quirked. "I guess he's okay. But you know him, are you doing to talk to him?"
Georgina's eyes flashed dangerously, excited at this new prospect. She took another sip from her own straw, head tilting to the side so that long blonde hair cascaded down around one shoulder instead of both, hip jutting out to the side as she rested her weight to one side of her body instead.

"Touché" the redhead responded straightforwardly, her gaze studying the male for a moment before smiling and sipping at her drink again. "Do you want me to talk to him so you can?" She asked with mock innocence. Turning her attention back to Georgina, Tallulah shook her head just softly, her hair falling loosely with her movements before falling back to where it was styled. "If he wishes to mix business and pleasure he can limp his way over here."

Georgina snorted at that & shook her head, using her straw to mix the remainder of her drink. Before she could say a word, the bartender leaned in between them & said softly, "Honestly, girls, you don't leave your post here for a seven. Only nines and higher warrant you approaching them."
"Exactly!" the blonde laughed, turning to look at the bartender before turning back to Tallulah again. "Besides, he'll get thirsty at some point." she gestured to them standing in front of the bar & smirked.

Letting out a laugh, the redhead shook her head again as she turned her head to look at the barman, her elbow resting against the bar as she leaned against it. "Point. Do you see yourself as a nine?" She questioned him as she slid her finger around the rim of her glass before giggling. Not waiting for an answer she turned her attention back to the rest of the room. "That and the fact people generally visit bars to get a drink." She added before looking at Georgina through her lashes before taking another sip of her drink from the end of her straw.

"Details, details." she said, flapping one hand before setting her now empty glass on the counter. She was tempted to ask for another, but decided to wait a few minutes to see if someone would offer to buy her one, instead. She'd never turn down a free drink, even from the worst of the bunch - unless she didn't see it being made. Let's not get crazy-unsafe, now.
"Anyone else, in the meantime?" she asked curiously, watching a group of seventh year students stumble inside in a large group. She rolled her eyes as a few of the boys seemed interested in the both of them, before turning back to the bar. Ugh, no hormone-bags.

"Ha-ha." Flipping her hair over her shoulder as she also drained the rest of her drink Tallulah also drained the rest of her drink before placing her glass down beside Georgina's. Running her hand through her hair she ran her tongue over her teeth before dampening her lower lip.
"Hm." She hummed under her breath before letting her gaze flit around the room, settling on someone stood at the opposite end of the bar. "Give him a 7.5, 8 at a push."

"Ms. Clearwater."
Georgina's head snaps around as well, though she wasn't the one addressed. They'd both been busy spying on the seven-point-five-slash-eight on the other side of the bar, not noticing Edward creeping up to the pair of them at the bar. He's leaning easily against the bar, his cane resting against it just below the counter as he waits for his drink to be made for him.
Enjoying him much more, now that he was closer up, Georgina tilted her head to the side & batted her lashes as she waited to be introduced.

Hearing the familiar voice, she took a moment to turn around. "Larkin." She replied, head bowing in an almost coy like manner, as she looked up at him through her lashes. "It's been a while." She spoke before turning her body so she was stood equally between him and Georgina. " This is Georgina,-" she gestured to the blonde beside her. " Georgina - Edward Larkin, Hogwarts professor."

"Hey." the blonde couldn't even resist twitching her eyebrows, running her fingers through her hair from scalp to ends, pushing it back from her face slowly.
Larkin gave them both a small smirk, "Enjoying your night out, ladies?" he looked up & handed a few sicles to pay for his drink & tip the bartender as a tumbler of whiskey & ice is slid across the bar toward him.

Tallulah turned her body towards the bar for a moment, signalling the barman to get her Georgie more drinks, figuring it was worth ordering their own drinks now Larkin had gained their attention. Turning back to the two of them, she leaned back against the bar again, her back pressing against the edge.
"Of course, after a week in the office it's nice to get out. Let your hair down." She smiled before pursing her lips for a split moment. "What happened to you?" She asked, head nodding towards his cane.

"Psychosomatic." Larkin insisted, picking his cane up & using it to tap against his stiff, straight leg. "Broke every bone in my leg." he smirked a bit at the suddenly horrified look on Georgina's face. "I work with animals." he cleared his throat & took a sip of his whiskey, setting the tumbler down again.
"You lot must be busy, with the standardized protests." he said conversationally, glancing at Tallulah, now. "I imagine a night out is well-warranted."

"I assume you'll make a full recovery?" she asked, giving him a somewhat concerned look. "Sounds like you got less injured working in the ministry" she commented, turning her body as she felt the presence of her drinks on the bar. "Put it on a tab" she said to the barman, her hands reaching for the drinks before passing one to Georgina.
"We're busy without the protests, always some kind of issue in the office." She sighed, her head tilting to the side just slightly as she swirled her drink around with the straw. "A night out is always well-warranted" she corrected him. "And what brings you here, then?"

"I'm a professor." he reminded her, smirking. "A night out is warranted about 4 times a week." he smirked moreso & glanced between both girls before taking the rest of his drink in a single gulp. "I spend my days babysitting a bunch of hormonal teenagers who think they're all going to be rich & famous & don't need an education." He was underselling himself quite a bit - something about him sort of commanded respect from his students. "I'll let you ladies enjoy the rest of your evening." he grabbed the fresh drink that the bartender slid to him just as Georgina took her drink from Tallulah & began nibbling on the straw.
"Nice meeting you," she practically chirped, giving him a coy look, all wide-eyed & sweet.
