He felt guilty at her pain, but stormed on, tracing his wand over the cut so that a fresh, thick, dark scab sewed the skin together & held it in place, keeping it from bleeding. As he finished, he set his wand on his lap & used his sleeve to softly mop up any remaining blood, dabbing at her skin gently & then, without even thinking about his actions, dipped down & planted an incredibly gentle kiss on her side, next to the freshly-healed wound. Sitting up, he adjusted her shirt for her & gave her a small smirk.
"Sorry, force of habit. All better." he insisted.

The brunette kept her head leaning back, eyes squeezed shut as she let out little noises of pain, her teeth gritting together painfully. Her nails dug into the wooden panels of the porch floor, her nails threatening to break. Letting out a heavy breath as he seemed to stop, she continued to sit where she was, head still leaning back for a moment until she took a few heavy breaths.
Lifting her head, Phe looked Thorfinn straight on, tears glazing her eyes. Using her sleeve she dabbed the corner of her eyes before any real tears formed before dampening her lower lip. "S'all right, thank you." She whispered, exhaling again, her voice breaking.

He frowned, standing up.
"Wait here." he insisted, vanishing back into the house, only to return a few moments later with a dark chocolate frog, tearing at the wrapper as he approached her. "I'm fairly sure this is Soleus', but you probably could use it more." he smirked a bit before dropping back down to sit next to her & offering her the candy.
"For your blood." he insisted.

Phe cocked a brow as he disappeared and moved into a more upright sitting position. The hairs on her arms stood on end as the cool breeze passed through the porch. Using her hands to rub up and down her arms she sighed heavily, jumping as Thorfinn returned. Exhaling heavily she mentally kicked herself for being so jumpy. "I'm not hungry." She answered, taking the chocolate anyway. Though, she held it out in front of her rather than taking a bite. "M'alright."

"I know you're not." he said, clearly understanding, "Seeing yourself ripped in half isn't exactly appetizing. I didn't get it for your stomach, it's for your blood." he tipped it a bit closer to her, looking stern but still concerned.
"Eat."

"I'm not so sure my stomach will keep it down." Ophelia answered, her throat feeling like it was tightening just at the thought of taking a bite from the chocolate.
Exhaling softly, she brought the chocolate to her mouth, taking the tiniest of bites and sucking on it before looking up at him, almost asking for some kind of approval. Something had changed in her lately, and she didn't really like who she was becoming, someone who cared about other people, took notice of what they'd say. Sometimes she just wished she had the willpower to put her memories in a penesive, give up the pain and heartache that caused her to seem so weak nowadays. Though, she craved conversation and some sort of affection, even non-romantic.

"Give it a shot." he insisted, watching her carefully as she did, then giving her a small smirk.
"Atta girl." he had a small bit of knowledge that the women of this house didn't particularly enjoy eating for an audience, so he turned away from her to encourage her to continue eating, focusing his visual attention on the front garden area instead, though he didn't leave her side.

Ophelia forced herself to swallow the tiny amount of chocolate in her mouth before throwing her free hand over her mouth, cupping it as she scrambled to her knees. Crawling to the edge of the patio. She moved to her feet, her hand grabbing at the railing to heave herself up before she threw up over the side, a deep red, almost black, liquid. Coughing straight after she pulled her hand to her mouth and wiped at it before turning to Thorfinn. Her head shaking as though asking him to not even question it. "I'm fine." She whispered, before he could comment.

He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it when she spoke first & sighed quietly, looking out at the lawn instead. Shame.
"I'm tired of this." he finally said. "We shouldn't fight each other, it doesn't help." he shook his head, staring wistfully off into the distance. He clearly didn't only mean Brent and Ophelia, but any of the death eaters in general. "It's a waste of our energy and numbers."

The brunette leaned over the railings a little, taking a heavy breath as though the air was cleaner on that side of the railing. "I don't count." She answered simply with a shrug, "I'm not one of you, I don't need the energy." She sighed quietly under her breath before using her jumper sleeve to wipe at her mouth again. "Besides, don't be alarmed, it's no big deal, really."

"Purebloods." he reiterated. "Just because you're not a soldier doesn't mean we shouldn't be.. be.." he trailed off uselessly, standing up & making his way over to her carefully.
"There's no reason for us to hurt our own kind."

Phe let out an amused breath as she inhaled heavily again, letting the clean air hold in her lungs for a couple of moments before exhaling. "It's fine, really. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, hey?" She answered with a soft shrug. "Besides, I'd rather take my chances against him than my mother friends."
"Do you think he needs a reason?"
