"Wow, so much flattery." she shook her head but grabbed his hand to help hoist herself up anyway, letting go as she settled steady on her feet & left her text books in a pile on the table - she'd simply come back for them later.
Heading out of the hall with him, she avoided the obvious assumption that various other students made - most of them whispering that they were heading off to find some broom closet or abandoned toilet somewhere, despite the pure intentions that they both seemed to have, for once. She hadn't been avoiding the natural sunlight on purpose, she just hadn't been able to motivate herself to go outside.. there were people out there & she wasn't particularly excited about joining that.

Winking playfully Mace let a grin fall over his lips. "Mmm, well you know me." He retorted playfully before grabbing his book, deciding that a restricted section book wasn't something he should be leaving around, he didn't want to get into trouble because it got in the wrong hands. Propping it under his arm he walked towards the door of the great hall. He didn't take much notice of anyone else there, he didn't have much interest to.
Running his free hand through his hair, Mace wandered out of the big main doors into the courtyard before looking at Tiff, giving her another smile. "Grass?"

She quirked an eyebrow at his smiliness, though it wasn't an unkind look that she gave him - she was mostly curious. It wasn't that he wasn't usually friendly, but generally nowadays people were only kind to her when they needed something. She wondered, for a moment, if he expected her to go somewhere more private with him. Part of her thought she might, if he asked, wanting to feel something, something normal for once.
"I'm fine with whatever." she insisted, following him to the grass & ignoring the breeze flicking her hair into her eyes.
