Lake breezes - Soleus Lestrange

Ashley was seated by herself into the evening, a book flipped open with numerous pieces of parchment resting on top of it, 
she wrote with a enchanted quill that moved on its own as she mumbled things softly to herself.
hearing rustling from the forest breaking the silence that fell over the grounds at the hour late into the evening she clutched her wand the enchanted quill instantly falling still on the parchment. She did not say anything for a moment and simply waited in silence to hear any noise or indication she was no longer alone, when she did not she went back to writing her quill coming back to life as she murmured to herself

[Soleus Lestrange]

The rustle, of course, was Soleus, hobbling in a very ungainly way through the underbrush. After realising that he wasn't being very successful at staying quiet, he cursed quietly to himself and shook his head. He had a rather swollen bottom lip which was looking rather painful by now, a thin line of deep red blood trickling from the cut in the center of the swollen area, and the skin surrounding his left eye was deepening in colour.

"For fucks sake," He muttered, tripping and righting himself for the hundredth time and finally deciding to give up walking along the outskirts of the forest and just allowing himself to pop out near the lake. He didn't notice Ashley at first and paused when he emerged, a piece of a twig stuck comically out of his tangle of too-long hair.

Ashley widened her eyes when she saw the dark figure emerge from the forest when she realized it was Soleus she instantly rose to her feet her quill flying into the grass unseen she scurried over to him looking worried
"Soleus! Are you alright?"
She squeaked out hastily trying to find what happened and fumbled with her wand to heal him

Soleus noticed the blonde hurrying towards him and his face lit up, looking too surprised to see her. He took a shaky step forwards and grinned goofily, or as goofy as one as slick as Soleus could manage.
"Ah, Godfrey!" He said rather loudly, holding an arm out towards her, the intention of going for a dramatic bow as she approached, but he stumbled a little and decided to skip the over-the-top formality. His face became darker as her noticed her fumbling.
"Wha- what are you doing?" He furrowed his brow, tilting his head to one side in concern as he watched her. He was clearly confused as to what was going on and obviously this was the result of more than slight intoxication.

"What happened to your lip are you drunk?"
She took his arm gently and pulled him towards the tree she was seated at and gently sat him down, her fingers delicately brushed his swollen lip her eyes soft in worry
"Did you want me to heal them?" She asked looking genuinely scared for him "what can I do?" She asked hastily.

"My lip? wha- no," He shook his head forcefully, then stopped, blinked and rubbed his temple with his hand, "I'm fine, dunno what you mean, Godfrey." He attempted a smirk as she brushed his face, and although it was still certainly charming it was also quite amusing at the same time.

"I don't need healing, beautiful." He smirked wider, and then exhaled and tried to maneuver upwards up the trunk of the tree, "Nah, I'm fiiiii-" He slid back down in defeat, and looked at her in a guilty school-boy manner, up through his eyelashes.

Ashley frowned at him sternly and shook her head "you are not fine" she pulled out a handkerchief from her bag and dipped it in the lake, leaning forward she delicately wiped at the blood trickling from his lip and down his neck "are you going to tell me what happened?" She asked insistently.

Soleus smiled blissfully as she dabbed his face, his eyes closing momentarily, until she spoke again in a more demanding tone, and he opened his eyes once more. He eyed the handkerchief, looking dumbfounded.

"Is that blood?" He reached up and felt his lip. "Oh, look, I'm bleeding, Godfrey!" He obviously found this rather amusing and began to chuckle. He then stretched out his legs, dropping both feet heavily straight out in front of him, his weighty boots scattering dirt around them.

"I was at the pub!" He proclaimed cheerfully.

"so you /are/ drunk" Ashely commented and shook her had in disapproval but smiled at him nonetheless, after she wiped away the blood she rinsed the handkerchief then folded it and froze it pressing it to his eye "you also have a lovely black eye developing I am terrified to ask how the other guy looks" she smiled a little bit and nudged him softly clearly fluffing his already swollen ego.

He looked dazed but continued to smile cheerfully at her.
"I am a little merry, beautiful." He leaned slightly towards her, all of his movements slow and rather amusing.

"You are very beautiful, you know. Did I say that already?" He grinned once more, then leaned back, resting his head heavily on the tree trunk, and closing his eyes. "Well I hope you can fix my black eye, I don't want it ruining my God-like features." He opened one eye, peeking at her in a funny manner and curving his lip up into a smirk again, clearly joking, although he felt it was mostly true.

Ashley snorted "you are waaayy past merry you are like the minister of inebriation" she giggled at her own joke then blushed when he was so close to her, shyly pulling back she giggled this time in nervousness "once or twice" she commented softly before she pulled herself together and went back to nursing his wounds, "even if I couldn't don't most girls go for that all beat up bad boy thing?" she asked shyly traces of red still apparent on her cheeks from her previous blushing.

He opened his other eye and chuckled at her joke, "Minister, hmm, I like it." He wiggled his eyebrows jokingly.

He then moved his head forward again to make it easier for her to tend to his face, and raised one eyebrow at her, trying to keep his face more serious. "I don't know, do they?" He asked in a deep tone, eyeing her face to see her response.

Ashley widened her eyes nervously at his question her cheeks turning red she bit on her lower lip and giggled shyly "I-I didn't mean meeee I mean I'm not I don't" she looked down at the ground turning away from him and widened her eyes nervously "I-I just meant other girls you know the-the ones that like follow you around and stuff"

Soleus smirked a little as she looked away, then regained a semi-serious expression as he looked slightly forlorn. "Oh I see. Well, yeah I guess so." He said, trying to regain his ego. "But could you fix it?"
He looked hopeful and still rather drunk.

Ashley smiled and leaned in to inspect the bruise then pulled out her wand, she delicately traced the tip of her wand along his eye muttering a few incantations to herself, the swelling and the coloring pretty much completely fading as she finished "there" she spoke softly her fingers gently brushing where she had jut healed "that hurt?" she asked in a warm and caring tone.
